Water Heater Element Location/ Brand ???

We are considering purchasing a 2018 Forest River (27DBUD).

A few questions...

Is the hot water heater a Suburban or an Atwood?

Is the hot water heating element easily accessible, or is it located in the rear, making it difficult to replicate? We have an Atwood (2008 Itasca Suncruiser, & that element is located on the back side of the water heater.)

Can the water heater be left ON continuously (except when the trailer is being pulled, of course)?

Sorry.
Stupid phone "spelling correcter".

I meant, is the water heater element hard to replace?

I have a 2018 Georgetown xl 369ds, this is my first motorhome. I had a problem this weekend with hot water. I was able to resolve the problem, I had just to close the by-pass. Does anyone know where the hot water is located

Suburban Water Heater........
Element is under oval cover below/behind burner tube
Element is a 1440W standard electric element
Set of T-stats under Push To Reset cover above gas valve
Electric OEM on/off switch below/behind gas vavle...left corner
LP on/off switch inside RV

*All major components accessible in outside compartment
Circuit Board, junction box on backside

I can not be 100% sure about your specific HWH but all of the ones I have seen the element is pretty easy to replace. Only odd tool is an 1-1/2" socket needed to fit the element. The element is usually a standard element from a hardware store, 14-1500 watt. The wrench is available next to the elements at the store. Make certain the 110 volt power is off. You tube videos will clear up your concerns.
I would not leave the HWH on while traveling as it would be using your LP gas. Fire it up once you get settled in your spot with electric power. We use the LP just before you jump in the shower then turn it back off.

Suburban......electric elements in outside compartment below burner tube behind oval cover
120VAC 1440W element

Atwood.......electric elements on backsidde on WH Tank under a protective cover.
Depending on year model could have set of t-stats OR a DC Relay
120VAC 1400W element

All are 1 1/2" socket....thinwalled 6 point works best
Always use NEW gasket

**Atwood can be PITA due to 'lack of acess' to backside of WH Tank
