Does anyone recognize this water filter system? It seems the manufacture used water based ink which dissolved when I removed the filter case. There is no lettering or numbers on the actual filter. I have not been able to locate a replacement filter. What filter number do you use? I ordered an incorrect one from etrailer. (See photo attached?)Thanks !

I would put dollars to donuts most standard 2.5 x 10 inch water filters will fit that housing, and there are lots of choices depending on what you want.

Any 2.5x10 filter will work. Choose one based on what you are trying to filter (rust, sediment, chlorine, etc). The sources listed above are good ones.

I use express water filter cartridges, they will work for you.

I always buy in qty as the price drops significantly. Typically there are others in the RV park that have similar filters so I just get 3, 4 or more guys together and we buy in larger qty filter lots.

I buy 1 micron sediment for $1.99 and 5 micron carbon block for $5.99.

Thanks all, for your input!
One would think water filters would be universal in size or use, but tis not the case.
After looking my collection of filters over today, I found the words "Pro Water Parts" on the top of the water filter needing to be replaced. ClearChoice has a much smaller mouth and is a little shorter. The filter from my former RV does not have a neck.

Thanks specifically to SailerSam and CVL (and google), I think I found the correct replacement: FRE-10-GN .

Assume the problem is resolved unless I add to this chain. Here's hoping the filter arrives before I depart this campground. In the interim, I have been using a filter that attaches to the incoming hose line. I do wish that exact measurements were available in the 'description' section of filters found on line.
