Ceramic coating properly applied is one of the best ways to protect an RV’s finish from the elements and hazards of the road.

At NIRVC, our factory-trained and certified installers use the industry leading XPEL ceramic coating because it protects against UV rays, oxidation and insect acid and repels water, dirt and road grime.

Since the key to an effective ceramic coat is surface prep, NIRVC technicians ensure the paint is defect-free and clean so the coating will bond properly. Our technicians examine the paint under proper lighting to identify any-and-all paint corrections that must be done before the ceramic coat application. If the paint has minor chips or even a swirl mark, it must be repaired or removed before the coating can be applied to ensure the integrity of the ceramic coating.

Is this an alternative to the "Diamond Shield" plastic film and other product that protect the front of the coach from bugs and small debris that hit the coach while driving?

Hello, at NIRVC we first do a thorough examination of the paint quality and make all necessary repairs. The high gloss of the product highlights all imperfections. If the paint defect is below the Diamond Shield film, the film is removed, the area is repaired and then the Diamond Shield is reapplied after the appropriate cure time. It is at this point that we apply the ceramic coating product. This is an extra layer of protection to the areas that need it most over the Diamond Shield.
