Waterspots are caused by the minerals (calcium) in water being left on the surface by incomplete drying, meaning your drying cloth is not perfectly dry and is leaving a little water on the surface. When the water evaporates the minerals are left behind. Squeegees with a silicone blade are ideal for quickly & easily removing all the water from any smooth surface, even curved surfaces like windshields and rounded body panels.
