Are runaway gas lines an issue? Anyone have data?
Many RV's (like mine) have Gas lines running underneath, exposed to road debris, biting animals (they like rubber) and anything that can get kicked up during riding. Propane is a VERY dangerous gas. Much more than natural. For me, I don't care about data. I don't want to blow up and become a statistic. We spend hundreds (or thousands) on crap all year long for our rigs, cars, truck (most can do without) This is 79.00 for piece of mind. That's good enough for me.
For those that say the regulator will shut it down. No it does not, only partially. I think they should be a standard safety item on all new rv's.
