Rv Roof Magic Roof Coating Enhancements

PRESS RELEASE
For Immediate Release
January 25th, 2023

Shelton CT, January 25th, 2023
RVroofMagic’s parent company; EPDM Coatings announced today a new formulation of their RvRoofMagic roof sealant. “Over the course of the last three years we have made significant strides in continuing to remain the rv roof sealant of choice in the industry. This included adding a mildewcide to the product in 2020 to deter mold spores from growing on the roof and increasing its tensile strength; all without increasing our costs to the consumer. Our latest development is a modification that now permits the product be applied directly over a stable TPO roof, without the need for a primer or multiple coats,” said Greg Kazmierczak, Sr. VP of Sales. Mr. Kazmierczak went on to say that this was huge for the company given the fact that many other coatings are not compatible with TPO and the few that are require a primer. The new product update will finally provide a solution for RV owners with a TPO roof and will allow their customers to enjoy many more years in their recreational vehicle or camper by applying their one coat system. RvRoofMagic is not just for customers who are currently experiencing a leak. Majority of their customer want to head off potentially costly repairs by re-coating their roof now and avoid thousands of dollars in damage later down the road!

RvRoofMagic and EPDM coatings are manufacturers of the only Liquid BUTYL Rubber in the world. Their “One Coat- No-Primer needed” system has made the product a success for over 25 years in the RV industry. It can be applied on virtually any roof type and will extend the life significantly vs the cost of roof replacement. EPDM Coatings has been reviewed and written up in many industry publications over the years and has won numerous consecutive awards such as “Top Product” and Product of the Year”.

For several years I was looking for a roof coating for a Hypalon Rubber roof. I got the material form my dad who partially owned an industrial pond liner company. The material was seconds. I used it on my patio roof. Long story short it is a black material that has a 50 year life. Being black made the patio unusable during the summer. RV roof magic was a blessing to find. Cleaned the roof, let it dry, and rolled it on with three coats. Boy does it stick and it really is cool under that roof now. I would not hesitate to use it on our motor home when it is time. If someone used RTV silicone on your roof, it can be removed. I had to do this in my home shower. You do need a water based removal agent. All I had to do is cut the silicone nearly off and use the removal agent with a good stiff brush. All silicone film must be removed. RV Roof Magic will seal well after that. I really like this stuff.
