Thor Motor Coach Fuels Outdoor Adventurers with 4WD Super C Motorhomes
Press Release
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Thor Motor Coach Fuels Outdoor Adventurers with 4WD Super C Motorhomes
ELKHART, IND. –Thor Motor Coach® is introducing its 2020 Super C motorhome line up this summer with four unique floor plans, two which offer 4WD. The Omni® and Magnitude® Class C RVs are built on the Ford® F-550 chassis powered by a PowerStroke® 6.7 L diesel engine providing 750-lb.ft. of torque, enabling 10,000 pounds of towing capacity.
Designed with the largest overhead bunk in the market, these motorhomes feature a panoramic skylight with accompanying power shade. Countless high-end features include a standard king-size bed, high-gloss solid wood cabinetry, residential stainless steel refrigerator, glass shower door, and bedroom USB charging station with CPAP outlet. A long list of automotive features which include a 7-inch rear view monitor, aluminum wheels and Mobileye® collision avoidance system are standard. Power management is controlled by the FireFly® multiplex wiring system and the Onan® 6,000-watt generator has plenty of power to run the dual roof air conditioners.
Four floor plans are offered to fit any lifestyle:
• XG32 with theater seating and measures under 34 feet, great for national parks.
• SV34 highlights a king-size Tilt-A-View® inclining bed as well an exterior kitchen
• BB35 includes a king-size bed, the popular family-friendly bunk beds with two TVs and DVD player, a flip-up kitchen counter extension for more usable kitchen space, and an exterior kitchen.
• BH35 features a king-size bed, a bath and a half, and a pull-out pantry.
The SV34 and XG32 with 4WD are aimed at outdoor enthusiasts. “Our product development and engineering team worked diligently to implement four-wheel drive,” said Chris Carter, Product Manager at Thor Motor Coach. “We’re excited to bring light off-road capabilities to our fans who want to launch a boat, have more traction on sandy beaches, or more security during winter driving. Four-wheel drive truly expands the locations and time of year people are traveling.”
Standard this year on Super C RVs is the Winegard® ConnecT™ 2.0 4G LTE Router and WiFi Extender and over-the-air TV/FM antenna. Consumers will appreciate the fully integrated system that works together for maximum security, faster internet speeds, and increased range from any WiFi source or AT&T’s reliable nationwide 4G LTE network (subscription required).
Consumers can also take advantage of all of the resources that make RV ownership a breeze. Thor Motor Coach has developed a web-based portal, the Owners Resource. This portal gives owners access to important information on their motorhome, including factory-installed components and equipment, owner’s manuals, and more. Along with the Owners Resource, the new Thor Motor Coach app helps with everything from tracking RV service and maintenance to trip planning.
