Tire Pressure Real Time Monitoring

Installed by our local Discount Tire as soon as we brought the RV home from the dealer. We've been using their product for about 4 years / 40k miles now. Twice during this period, we were alerted of tire leaks and were able to safely get off the highway without incident. The first time was a dolly tire and the second was an inside dual. We use internal "band mount" on the motorhome. We use cap style sensors, first on a dolly and the two tires on the ground and now all the way around on the TOAD we pull 4 down.

I looked at them all before I chose & been using the TST system 10 years now upgrading to the current system 2 years ago..it saved me with a rapid air loss alarm warning on my motorcycle trailers right side traveling at 70 mph on the interstate..it had 18 lbs. Left when of the 44 lbs when I got stopped The rubber valve stem went bad..i aired it back up to 44 lbs & secured it with wire ties to the wheel slots so it didn't bend with centrifugal force as i drove to a tire shop & had steel valve stems installed on both wheels..the TST System did it's job..I use the flow thru type external sensors on the coach & trailer.

I just purchased the TST system and am still trying to get it to work. I have deleted and reprogrammed the sensors so many times (in a week!!) that I can do it in my sleep. Sometimes the system will not recognize a tire, sometimes it will alarm at a high pressure when five minutes ago it was alarming on the very same tire for low pressure.
I have a low tolerance for nonsense like this.

Not sure how you are doing it but I don’t try to program mine at the RV by each tire. For me it’s more comfortable sitting at the kitchen table and doing them there.

I would call TST and ask for Mike Benson. He will walk you thru the steps for each sensor and get it right.

His cell # is 210-420-0132 and he’ll talk to you no matter how long it takes.
