Worked on my 20' enclosed for several years. Have since gone to high performance brass stems and flow-thru sensors.

I will try and they do not work well then I will switch out the valve stems after this trip.

If your carry more than 80 pounds of air in your tires or if your tires are more than 3 years old, changing to metal valve stems is strongly recommended.
The main reason is that over time & harsh winter/summer conditions will cause the rubber valve stems to dry and develop cracks. Then the weight of any sensor will cause the the stem to start to leak.
We had rubber valve stems on our 5th wheel which were 3 years old and after adding the TST we drove less than 400 miles when one of our tires warned us of a leak. When we pulled in to a lot, we could see the cracked stem and could hear the air coming out when we bent the rubber stem a bit. We immediately had metal valve stems put on and we have been fine ever since [4+ years]. Di

I had metal stems installed on my old Toad for under $12.00 at Discount Tire.

i had mine install on my CRV rubber valve and that work but with the rotation
I was skare that the valve cut so i change for metal no more skare

I use the Pressure Pro system and they recommend the metal stems but I decided to try it until I needed new tires and never had a problem (several thousand miles). Now I have a different Toad and I'm doing the same thing until it needs new tires but I've had one leak so far but it seems that tightening the sensor has worked. I'll be looking at gettting metal stems soon though.

I've been using 507s on a toad with rubber valve stems on small tire for about 3,000 miles without a problem. This is the rear only (on a tow dolly). I took the 507's anti-theft outer casing off to reduce weight (it was very easy to remove).

Been using the 507 sensers on toad with rubber valve stems for over 15000 miles and 1 1/2 years. No problems (yet). With 38 ft motor home they read fine from toad without amplifier!

Same here, have over 22,000 on rubber stems. No problems
