'02 Journey Remodel...

Planning a remodel of the living room of my Winnebago diesel pusher. This rig has the stand alone table and chairs and an electric operated couch/bed. It is in the living room slide out and is 75" wide and 35" tall.

I'm planning on removing the couch and replacing it with two comfortable recliner/swivel, rockers but I've come to ask if anyone has removed the couch without ruining it. Part of the plan is to install a 47" Smart TV lift/lower device on the opposite wall to create a 'theater' type setup. I'm also planning on adding a commercial 18" wide dishwasher on the end of the kitchen counter but that's for a different post.

What my question is, is how do people get the couch out of the RV? Through the main door?...which isn't very wide, only 29"...or through the window? which is wide enough but it's got 100 screws or so plus would need all that careful work to remove than replace and it's a ways off the ground. So I'd need to build a platform. OR, is the couch taken apart, like the arms removed, so it's smaller?

Anyone done this with one of these electric couches? I'd like to save the couch to sell later too.

On a factory tour, we were told that everything in a Winnebago can go through the door.

Thank you all! I had a friend over and he climbed in back and said there are 4 big screws on each side holding the arms in place and if they are removed, it'll slip right out the door. So I'm gunna do that.
