08 Mandalay diesel says “Ford” on id tag

I’m looking to purchase a 2008 Four Winds Mandalay 40H with the Cummins ISL 425. Strange thing, instead of a freightliner tag on the wall inside the coach, it says Manufactured by Four Winds, and including manufactured by Ford Motor Company. Yet the VIN on it is a freightliner vin. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thank you in advance.

Four Winds mistake. They used the wrong template or pre-printed tag and QA didn't catch it. Looks just like the tag in my Hurricane built on a Ford chassis. Notice on both tags how the vehicle specific items are slightly lower than the titles except for the two manufacturers on the upper left side of the tag.

I would verify the tire size and VN numbers are correct. If not, I would ask the present owner to request from Four Winds a new tag to be that can be displayed. I agree with the wrong original template, but you do not want any discrepancies on the other info.
