18" Flourescent lights
I have these lights in the celling and the plastic covers keep falling off. I have tried double sided sticky tape but still falls. Any ideas?

Hard to say...but a photo might be real useful so went can see what your are dealing with.

Are the lenses held on with small pins , 4 , one in each corner ?

All the photo would be is showing a light fixture with or without the plastic cover, or the cover itself.

Buy a better quality light fixture? I have a dozen Thin-lites in my coach and no cover has ever fallen out.

Sounds like they've been overheated abd distorted. If it's only one or two lights try swapping the covers out in different fixtures.
I've had no problems with mine which I think are the same as yours, they had the stock bulbs in them until they were swapped with LED bulbs a few years ago.
If you have access to a good heat gun I'd consider heating around where the tab are and spread the sides apart with a suitable sized piece of wood while they cool down.
