1982 Pace Arrow wiper problem

I just inherited a 1982 Pace Arrow 27' motorhome from my father. It's mostly in pretty good shape, but the windshield wipers and heater blower aren't working. Fuses are good and they seem to be hooked up properly (although I will admit wiring/electrical is NOT my strong suit). I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar issue and/or can point me in a direction to start?

Hello and We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. I am sure you will enjoy our website and forums. Good luck, stay safe and keep us posted.
Wiper circuits can be fairly complicated, especially for a novice. You should buy an inexpensive digital volt, ohm meter and learn how to use it. A 12 volt test light is another handy tool. The best tool I have found for 12 volt systems is a power probe as you can easily test positive and negative conductors to a load, across fuses and switches. You need to find out if you have power getting to the load and if not where are you loosing it. make sure you have a good negative or ground getting to the load as well.
Best advice I can give you is to find someone that can diagnose the issue and is willing to train you in the process. Good luck and keep us posted.

Probably a ground problem. The fiberglass cap does not conduct so there has to be a ground for the 12 volts. Check your ground wires.
