The converter changes 120v to 12v to charge the batteries and run 12v items in the RV. An inverter changes 12v to 120v. Very likely a 1990 won't have an inverter unless it was added by a prior owner.
Are any 120v devices working? Are you plugged into 120v? Have you checked for tripped breakers? Tripped GFI on plugs?

It is plugged in to 120. There are 5 or 6 120 receptacles located throughout the rv but none work. Everything 12 volt works great. Didn't know if there was a breaker or something that I can't find

Have you found any breakers? Flip them off and on, sometimes it's hard to tell if they're tripped. An outlet in the bathroom, maybe near the kitchen sink will be GFI, they'll have 2 small buttons labeled Test and Reset. Push reset.

I haven't found any circuit breakers and I'm sure they are hiding somewhere. Unfortunately I don't have any wiring diagrams. Eventually I will find breakers I'm sure

Breakers should be behind the far left cabinet door over the dinette table.

I am glad HH was able to tell you where the breakers are because it is not in the manual. I went through the entire 120 volt section. You can download the Owners Manual here https://www.fleetwoodrv.com/owners-manuals
There is an inverter in the coach but it is only for the TV and VCR. You also have a converter that charges the batteries and provides 12VDC when you are plugged into shore power. If your coach is like mine, then your shore power cable ends at the converter. Check at the converter for a circuit breaker for the 120VAC, and if you have the necessary knowledge and skills to do it with out letting any smoke out of wires or you, check your 120VAC in and out of the converter. There is a possibility the 120V is fused in the converter. Do you have a surge protector EMS between the coach and electrical stand? If you do check that it is not tripped and check for power out of it. If it can be reset,do so, some cannot be reset and must be replaced. If you have a tripped protector that can be reset and it will reset good, if not do not use the stand without a surge protector and it has been checked by an electrician.

You are new here 3 posts, is coach new to you? Are you sure you are charging batteries when plugged in. Some older coaches had big plug you moved from genny outlet to shore power outlet in basement bay . There may be main breakers in bay in same vicinity. Or....does it have auto transfer switch ,those can have issues bad or burnt connectors in box.

Do any 120v appliances work... like the AC units ? If not, check the transfer switch
