Welcome to iRV2.

Manuals for the appliances and jack system should still be available from the appliance manufacturers web sites , most are still in business. You'll need model info from the appliance .
Some Ford and GM motor home chassis used an " auto park brake system "; can you look under the coach for a brake drum attached to the trans or differential that looks like the photo below.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Manuals seem to be one of the hardest things to find for older motorhomes. We were fortunate that the previous owner had a full set when we bought the Windsor.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Have you traced the cable coming out of the drum?

Welcome to the forum! I'm sorry that it took a problem for you to join us, but we hope that you will stay engaged after you have a resolution.

Google is now officially your best friend, but I wouldn't be taking him out to dinner yet. A nearly 30 Y/O coach with no manuals? The Gulf Stream board should be a close second, along with a search for Gulf Stream specific threads.

Thanks for the welcomes.
I haven't followed the cable from the e-brake yet.

There doesn't seem to be much info on Gulf Streams and no pics of my specific model at all on bing images.
R the e-brakes basiclly the same for Ford and GM?

I'll try to post how it goes.
