1991 Bounder F53 transmission fluid

I need to know where the dang dipstick is on my 91 Bounder, Ford 460

It will be in the transmission dipstick tube. Once you find the tube follow it to the end and your dipstick will be there. If you go the wrong way you will end up at the transmission. The tube is normally on the right hand sidejust above or behind the radiator. It may also be under the engine cover , accessable from inside the motorhome. You may be able to get at it from the hatch on top , but somtimes the complete cover has to be removed.

You must open the dog house to access the tranny dipstick. It will be on the right side in the rear of the opening. In 1996, Ford did extend the dip stick to the front.
I'm still looking for a junk 96 or 97 F53 to get the dip stick and tube from.
