1993 American Eagle

Happy New Year.
I just purchased my first RV. Then I joined the forum today.. I am so excited... I am looking for information on replacing carpet and upgrading TVs, DVD, Speakers. I am located in San Antonio, Texas. Does anyone know of a place that does this type of work. Also are there any older "eagle" owner out there?

Of course I have more questions. Many more to come later.. Thanks

Welcome to the forum!

I have a 1998 American Eagle and have not upgraded anything so I am not a resource for those items. Everything is still working fine on the old girl and so we keep on going!

There is an American Coach Group on Yahoo that is excellent. Things like replacing carpet and upgrading DVD's and speakers are probably generic. There are some resources for replacing the old style TV's on older Eagles that are known to the group and they can refer you. There are companies that can replace your front lift TV and mount a flat screen for example.

There is also a resource that designed many of the electrical systems for the vintage American Coaches that you will "meet" there. He can be a great help.

Enjoy your new coach and congratulations.

Ernie Eckberg does great remodeling work on floors and such. He's in north Texas. Ernie can be contacted at 817-475-3991 or erniecarpet@aol.com.
Or his Yahoo Group: erniesremodelingandrepair : Ernie Ekberg's Floor covering

I too heartily recommend that you join the American Coach Owners Yahoo group. Tops for sharing tips and info with other AC owners.
