Might try the Newmar Owners Forum if you don’t get any answers here.

What are you trying to identify? I had a Mountain Aire around that vintage.

I tried the owners manual but it was very broad. A couple quick things so far:
I cannot find a place to fill the fresh tank without city water hook ups. As in a screw off cap that would take a smaller hose dropped into a 5 gallon jug.
I cannot put the coach batteries in store mode. Is this because something is actively drawing from the batteries and I can’t find it or something else?
It has a v8 in it but I can’t find a good place to get good information on the motor. Grease points, air filter type etc.
I am great with 12 volt work and pretty handy. However, I know my limits. I’d like to be able to identify things before I take it to a shop to get a good tune up so I don’t have them chasing gremlins on the clock.
Thank you for any help!

I'll help as much as I can, but mine is a DP, so chassis information is way different than yours
If I can, I'll take some pictures to explain. Water fill should be through a valve in the wet bay, just forward of the hose bib.
I have 2 places to store coach batteries. One above the door and the other just to the right of the driver's station. It's a momentary switch that unlatches the store relay. The actual relay is in the electrical bay.
I would look at the data plate for the chassis information. You can look up the chassis VIN for manufacturer and model in if that fails, you can email Newmar with the coach VIN. They are pretty good at providing information.

That coach will not have a gravity fill for water. You will either have to use the city water connection or pull water in via the water pump's winterizing system.

If you are winterizing, there should be a valve to shut off the intake from the water tank and another to connect a hose to a jug of rv antifreeze. Mine has been modified, so I'm not sure how it was originally set up.

Ok so if I am going to fill my fresh tanks:
Hook up as if on city water with a hose from a pressurized source
Leave the city water switch on off
Fill tank (how do I know when it’s full (ish)
Disconnect hose
Turn on water pump switch to pull from fresh tank
Did I get that right?
How would I sanitize that tank?

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!
I'm not familiar with that rig but noticed you are kinda new on IRV2 and wanted to say hello! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Thank you for any help
All of my batteries (3) are under the hood.
There are just so many arrant wires running through the coach that it’s hard to tell sometimes what is what and if something is drawing from the batteries. I may put in a big switch at the fuse box to do a hard disconnect of the batteries.
Any ideas where the water pump is at?
Thanks again for all the help. I am going to spend some serious time digging through the coach this week to identify some items.
I believe my hydraulic lines are somewhere very silly like a wheel well. Does that sound correct?

Hydraulic lines? It usually works better when a poster creates a separate thread for each question or topic. Too many questions in a single thread can get confusing pretty quickly.

The best way I've found to sanitize the tank is to drain the water hose and pour some chlorine bleach (alternatively, you can use one of the RV tank sanitizers. Walmart carries it) into the hose and hook it to the water supply. Fill the tank and let it set for awhile, a day or so, then pump the water through all the fixtures. Let it set another day, then drain the tank. Fill and drain the tank a few times, then flush out the pump, lines, and fixtures.
