1995 Winnebago Vectra Diesel Air Filter

Hi all,

I own a Winnebago Vectra 1995, 35 ft motorhome on Oshkosh chasses. I need to replace the air filter, but I am not finding the part number for the filter. It looks like a big cylindrical shape filter. I would really appreciate if someone could provide me with the part number. Thank you in advance.

Welcome to iRV2 .

The canister air filters , can be identified by the measurements , of the canister , inlet position and diameter , outlet position and diameter.
I took those measurement and a picture to Auto Zone and had a filter in 12 mins.
This is mine , I don't remember the canister measurements but 6" side inlet , 5" end outlet.

Welcome to the forum.

Do you have a Cummins C8.3 (the precursor to the ISC)? If so, the Oshkosh chassis (precursor to FCCC) most likely used that C8.3 engine and in that era (and I'm taking it from some notes I have), many applications used a 062891-001

As Skip426 suggested, take a measurement of the canister and/or see if there are any markings on it. The measurements for the 062891-001 are approximately 9.75" OD x 24" to 26" L

If yours matches those measurements or you see any marking that match those numbers (or I believe the chassis manufacturers used the number 0420-HH2 at that time), then you can be relatively sure that is the one you'd need.

Here is a Farr but it can be cross-referenced as many brands will offer the same thing:

062891-001 by FARR

Also as mentioned, take the measurements of the inlet and outlet too if you are purchasing it locally.

At least you have somewhere to start. And we can see if anybody with the exact same coach you have will chime in and tell you exactly the part number you need with certainty.

I have that exact rig and am also looking for a filter for it. I was beginning to believe that I had the only one in the world but now I know there are at least two of us.Please let me know if you were successful in your search. heinerniner

Thank you all for your input

I have upgraded for a newer motorhome, so I will just sell the old one as is. Thank you all for your input.
