HI EVERY BODY.. Does any body know how to turn on the rear sealed beam ( headlight ) on the rear of 96 sun voyager ? it does not come on when put in reverse ...

Also what is the small black rocker switch in stair well at the top 2nd right ?

the others are -(well light) and (compartment lights) and power disconnects on the bottom..

That sealed beam 'taillight' was not original equipment, so no telling where the switch would be. I'd expect that if it was to aid in seeing when backing up, the switch would be within the driver's reach. That unlabeled switch at the entrance could be the step switch to be able to reach in after parked to have the steps retract.

Hey thanks ,,,t you were right the black toggle in the entry, is for leaving the steps down when the door is shut.and parked...thanks a lot that was bugging me to no end..
On the sealed beam in back'' It definitely looks stock... Its in it own cut away in the rear body...lower left... ???

one more question does this sun voyager usually have stock trailer brakes plug- ins etc..nothing under the dash that I recognize... It does have a sl

ide in hitch in the rear.....??

What type of trailer wiring do you have at the back bumper? Mine was only a 4 pin connector, so I didn't look for brake controller wiring, but I have a Toad with an auxiliary brake that doesn't require a controller. I have strung wires from back to dash for an EGT gauge, it's not hard, just have lots of zip ties!

If the rear light is inset at an angle in a side panel, it most likely is an Owner added "dock light." You could check if it gets 12v when the transmission is put in Reverse if there are no other unexplained switches in the driver's area.
