Is you chassis battery switch on or off?
What voltage do the chassis batteries register at the battery terminals?
Are your chassis battery connections clean and tight?

No clue what you are working on, or what age.
Does everything else seem to be working normally?
It would not be unusual for the ign. key needing to be turned to "on" or maybe "accessory" to supply power to the jacks.

Begin at your chassis batteries and re-tighten every connection in both pos and neg circuits.
That happened to me at a rest stop, when we restarted the engine, it promptly died when I pushed in on the air brake release. Then there was no power to the dash, jacks, etc. After an hour or more of chasing connections, I finally found loose nuts on a terminal block outside the firewall, behind the front cap. Both pos and neg cable nuts were almost off the terminal bolts.
The upside, now I know how and where the chassis battery cables were installed. Sure hope I never have to replace them.

If Ford F53 chassis asked in the Ford Chassis Forum. If GM P-30 ask in the Workhorse Chevrolet Chassis Forum. Jacks are powered off the Battery Control Center (BCC), there is a 150 amp breaker in lower right corner. Breaker also supplies power to the generator.

no power to chasse
My 1998 Winnebago Chev 454 would not start and no dash gauges were working. Just got it out shop yesterday after 2 months...it was the Ignition switch connection block located at bottom of steering column which about 6 wires plug into. Have this checked
