2000 Country Coach Intrigue Issues

Hi,

I recently purchased a used 2000 Country Coach Intrigue 40ft Diesel Pusher. It has a little over 70k miles on it. I have fixed some very minor issues, but I'm looking for help on some things.

The speedometer stopping working on our recent trip to Florida, I'm guessing it could be a sensor or maybe something else. (?) I now have a major crack in the passenger side windshield. I live in Central Ohio, and would like to get it replaced local. I found a company and emailed Duncan Systems located in Elkart Indiana and their quote was $1,175.00 installed.. Any suggestions ? On the trip back from Florida, we came into a snow storm and the one of the driver's side windshield wipers arm broke. I used a plastic tie to hold it together until I got home. Country Coach is pricing it to me at around $350.00. Any suggestions elsewhere to purchase the windshield wiper arm assembly ? Lastly, the CB radio doesn't work and I can't find the inline fuse or a fuse in the fuse block. It's a all-in-one mike unit. I greatly appreciate any feedback !!

Thanks !!

The speedometer stopping working on our recent trip to Florida, I'm guessing it could be a sensor or maybe something else. (?) Dig out the manuals and chase the wiring and see where it goes. It has been awhile since I looked at the spedo wiring so I don't remember.

I now have a major crack in the passenger side windshield. I live in Central Ohio, and would like to get it replaced local. I found a company and emailed Duncan Systems located in Elkart Indiana and their quote was $1,175.00 installed.. Any suggestions ? Call Coach Glass at 800-714-7171 and see what they have to say. Your price could be about right depending on where you get it replaced. Check your local auto glass place. There is nothing special about a motorhome windshield.

Take it apart and go to a auto parts store. You might also contact Oregon Motorcoach or Carrier & Son, both in Eugene.

Lastly, the CB radio doesn't work and I can't find the inline fuse or a fuse in the fuse block. It's a all-in-one mike unit. That CB is a piece of junk. CC uses the one antenna for both the dash radio and the CB meaning nether one does an outstanding job. If you want a CB, install another antenna and a stand alone radio. Pull the hood off of the dash and chase the wiring, you should find the fuse buried in the dash wiring.

I greatly appreciate any feedback !!

AM Equipment Windshield Wiper Systems & Durable DC Motors for windshield wiper stuff

Your windshield should be covered under the Comprehensive coverage on your insurance policy. Call them and follow their directive before initiating repairs. Any local company can install the replacement once they have it on hand.

Unlike Don's my CB has a separate antenna. Like Don's it is not very useful. Never missed it in my travels.
