2000 Damon 3480 spare tire location

I have a 2000 Damon 3480 I just bought, It has the Cummings diesel and Freightliner chassis. Does anyone know where the spare tire is supposed to be located?
Newbie here, please help.

Almost all chassis with 22.5" tires and wheels , don't come with a spare .

Tire weight, jacks and lug nut torque requirements , make changing a flat an operation few owners are willing to tackle.

450 ft/lbs is the torque required, on my XC.

I agree, a task I am not willing to undertake changing a flat should it occur. I have Good Sam roadside assistance platinum which includes road hazard, but I thought you had to have a spare for them to put on your coach should you have a flat. If this is not the case I won't spend the money on a spare wheel.

2000 Damon 3480 spare tire location

Some folks carry an unmounted spare tire. Notice most of the commercial trucks are also carrying unmounted spares under their trailers. My rig takes 19.5’s so I put one in my toads trunk when we go cross country. That way I won’t get scalped on a new tire and the delay would be minimized from waiting on a new tire to be delivered. Some kind of roadside service insurance is very important when your out and about for just in case.

The spare tire in my MH is in the storage area under the bed.

We have a Damon Astoria and a spare tire is not part of the routine package. As was mentioned some will buy an unmounted tire and keep it in one of the storage lockers for a road service company to mount that the rim that needs the tire replaced. Does add to the coach weight and the tire will age whether mounted or not.

Yep motorhomes with 22.5 tires have a issue when it comes to a spare, that's why I wanted a RV with 19.5 so I can carry a full spare, rim and tire, and can replace a flat if needed.

Many will say what's the chance of a flat and I say the chance will happen in the worse area on the wrong day..

Our Freightliner XC came to me with a full spare mounted forward of the rear axle between the frame rails. Neat job hinged with a pulley system and enclosed in plywood. Someone did a great job. If we have a need it is there for some service guy to remove and mount.
