Hi, I have tried to search but it’s difficult. I lost my husband last year so need a bit of help with our MH. I want to be able to use the water without filing the white water tank. I’m sure he was able to do it but I don’t know how.

Thank you for any help.

Under one of the outside doors you will have a panel with a bunch of knobs, look for "city water" setting, and adjust knobs for that. Plug your water hose into the female faucet connection, turn on, and you should have water in the RV without filling the tank. Be careful with freezing weather, and you might have some air in the lines that will blow out with use.

There should be a knob in the bay where the city water inlet is located. It will have labels something like FILL and USE or maybe TANK & CITY. Also a hose inlet for city water, which comes in via a hose from the campsite water faucet. Set the control knob to USE or CITY and connect the supply hose to the female hose inlet and you will have water at all faucets.

The control knob is needed only to route city water into the fresh (white water?) tank, so leave it in the USE/CITY position except when you want to add water to the tank.

Look through hose storage area for a possible water pressure regulator you may already have. Will look like some of these. It's probably not needed 90% of the time. Not normally needed at a home hook up.
