2000 Georgie Boy Cruise Master New Roof and wall repair

Our MH had a little soft spot beneath the passenger front window when we purchased it 4 years ago... and it was 13 years old and needed a new roof...

Finally got around to making the repairs...

Old roof removed...

I did a lot of research before I began this little adventure... I could not find any info out there about this roof system... it is what I call a laminated roof... from inside out it is...
1. Ceiling material (cloth)
2. Luan
3. Styrofoam (expanded polystyrene)
4. Luan
5. Rubber membrane (Dicor)

Somewhere in the middle is aluminum framing... not sure on the spacing between the frame work...

What made it difficult was the framing... not having evenly spaced wood rafters...

how do you attach new decking material without having something to attach hardware to?

Some use liquid nails and only attach the new decking at the edges...

I wasn't comfortable doing that because after removing the old rubber roof material residual adhesive remained and I was concerned how the liquid nails would adhere to the old adhesive....

After many hours researching adhesive compatability.... I decided to use stabond industrial contact adhesive that would bond with the existing residual rubber roof contact adhesive and skin the entire roof with new Luan...

New wall going in...

New interior luan...

Then... new insulation (extruded polystyrene)...

Followed by new outside luan an filon attached... had to use a different stabond adhesive to attach the extruded polystyrene to the luan...

Used load locks to push against the barn wall and MH to hold everything in place...
