2000 Monaco Dynasty 38' Diesel VCR & TV Cable Switch Box What Brand?

My husband threw away non working VCR/&TV Cable Switch Box that controlled everything in the front and back of the motorhome. I need to replace it. I have no idea what brand it was. There is also a separate Stereo and CD Player that worked thru that system to allow it to go into the rear as well. Help. Any ideas?

Nothing works in tandem without it. Any out of another exact model for sale-anything?
Manual says Bose that we have BUT the manual has all 2000 Monaco's in there so it only specific in the case of some. It could have been a BOSE bu don't know.

I have another question:
Why does JD Power, Kelly Blue Book and others like it NOT list the value of a Monaco Dynasty 38 ft Diesel? They have 37.6 and 39.6 but no 38. What am I missing?

I'll answer last question first. All the books that list values do so based on selling prices from DMV transactions and trading prices as reported by dealers. For coaches with no history, they just are not listed. Sometimes you can go to an insurance company and request a quote, and they may show a value for the collision and comprehensive coverage as those rates will be set on that. They tend to have more information as they have vehicles that are being covered that have been traded.

For the cable Tv switch box what was it switching? Antennae, Video, composite or straight, Audio? It would be outdated, and the current standard is HDMI and wireless streaming. For antenna a simple amplifier-splitter can get that signal to all the TV's For DVD and other video sources if you want to display the same on multiple TV's you will need a distribution amp or a receiver that support multiple HDMI outputs. That would also take care of audio distribution to multiple rooms. Yes, you will need to pull some wires. I pulled al the old stuff out of mine also. Front living room has big TV, surround sound receiver 5.1 and a subwoofer. It gets TV from antennae and everything else from streaming, USB thumb drive, or remote display from laptop. Bedroom TV is standalone, Antennae and wireless streaming. We do not play the same show on both TVs. Keeping it somewhat simple. No Blu-ray or DVD.

This is what my box looks like
https://rvelectronics.visonerv.com/c...M280844/s1.pl?
Might not be the exact match but pretty close.

This only controls the front and rear TV's and VCR, Antenna, Cable, and Satillite. It has nothing to do with the audio equipment int the front cabinet above the driver.

The stereo, DVD, Disc player are wired through a different control.

You can download a manual and brochure from here

https://www.monacocoach.com/service-and-repairs/
They don't list a 2000 manual but have a 2001, which will be very close.

In the brochure it will list the 38 model, look at the length and you'll see it's longer, probably +39' 8", that's what mine is. I have the same chassis.

Look at joining the Monacoers.org site. They have a large database of info and I believe they have a set of wiring diagrams for your coach. The members there will be about as close to experts as you can get.

You have a great coach, good luck.

The boxes were called BOMBS (box of many buttons) and were obsolete 15 years ago.

If you can find someone who knows what they're doing, you can rewire the cables so everything will work again. Most people replaced their old TV's and wired them directly to the DVR, satellite. antenna etc.

As an example, if you're only using an over the air antenna, the coax from the antenna can be wired to a $5.00 coax splitter and both the front and rear TV connected together.

If you like watching movies from DVDs (hopefully not VHS tapes) you can buy two cheap DVR players at Costco and connect one directly to the front TV and one to the rear TV.

Its all workable.....get one of yoru grandkids to wire it up!
