I have a 2001 Newmar Dutch Star 3666 with the updated GMC 8.1L Vortec...
The 8.1 was sequential injection in 2001...
On the Workhorse with the 19.5 tires...
New Whirlpool frig & electric water heater...
New tires...
100 watt solar panel & a 1000 watt true sine wave inverter...

We paid $22,000 for it in 2015 from PPL in Texas....

Moving back to Texas in June near San Antonia & will put her up for sale
a few months later...
We will ask $18,000 at that time...

Hope this gives you an idea...
Bob

It sure does reinforce an idea which is to get a unit from South of the border...
I know, I KNOW, I have been told not to buy anything without looking at it in person!
Right now I have exhausted every single ads in Nova Scotia without success
I was starting to contemplate a trip to Maine (When C19 let us) if I could line up 2 or 3 viewings.
Yours is a bit far out of reach still but would likely fit my budget

Oh well... Patience is key in this adventure.

The old saying "Haste makes waste"...
We bought our DS in Houston from PPL, a big consignment dealer...
Doubt that we would consign it back at PPL as I like a personal sale...
Our Newmar DS will be for sale in around August, 2021...
You might consider flying in to look at two or more RVs, the owners would probably be happy to pick you up at the airport...

Anyway good hunting for your RV...
Bob

I know that travel restrictions are a big issue right now, and I'm not sure what the situation would be for you, being in NS. But I've seen quite few local ads (Ontario) of MHs around the price you are looking for.

Let me know and I can PM, if interested.

Yes indeed. I have kept an eye on the options outside the province of Nova Scotia. However we are not allowed to leave the province. Well. technically you can but the rules of isolation are such tat it is not practical...
And my elderly Mother in law do live with us so I do not want to bring anything nasty back home.
It will be a few months before we can resume travelling.

Starting to warm up to the idea of a 5th wheel...
