When I took the paint code I got with my 2000 Diplomat the paint store had trouble with the numbers I got from, the then in business, Monaco. They ended up using their computer color matching to get the perfect color. I was able to take in a storage bay handle for them to stick in the computer.

Not sure, but in my coach there was a published list of options with paint codes.sherwinwilliams was the manufacturer. also you may be able to call factory with serial numbers. a good portion of that information was transfered to navistar I don't know how far back
I asked for and got the numbers direct from Monaco. They also provided me with who made the paint. My paint case from BASF Chemical Company and is distributed by Finishmaster in our area.
