2002 Freightliner Winnebago Journey dash Diagnostics not blinking nor engine starting

2002 Freightliner Winnebago Journey Caterpillar 3126. Engine cranks but will not fire up. I tried to display the dash diagnostics without any success.

In Sept. the disgnostics return a 55. no detected faults.

Coach has been sitting since 10/8 of this year. I go up every 3 weeks and run the generator to recharge the batteries.

Now the engine cranks but will not start up.

Thank-you in advance for your help in this matter.

Well Sir,
On an '02 Journey, I'm not sure how you're getting any diagnostic codes to appear since, if I'm not mistaken, the only way to get such information, at least on my '04 Itasca Horizon, 36GD with the C-7 CAT, is by the use of the Medallion Information Center which, is an LCD screen, just to the right of my annunciator panel. Do the '02 Freightliner chassis's have the same LCD screen?

As for you're not being able to start that 3126, well, not sure this will help but, do you have "2" fuel filters? One sitting just in front of the radiator, visible from the rear of the coach and one, up along side the engine, near the top, about mid-length? And if so, you may have a hand primer there too. If so, you might try and pump that hand primer a few times to see if that helps. Can't see how you'd have lost prime in the time frames you normally go and start the engine but, maybe it's possible.
Scott

Thanks for the info. I have one fuel/water filter located in the rear. This was changed in 10-2018.

As far as codes this is the procedure I use.
Use the following procedure to retrieve the flash codes from the check engine light:
Turn the ignition key switch to the On position/ Engine OFF.
Turn the cruise control ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.
Push the SET/COAST button and hold. Hold that position until the yellow lamp begins to flash.
The yellow lamp will flash in order to indicate a two digit flash code and
the SET/COAST switch may be released. The sequence of flashes represents
the system diagnostic message. Count the first sequence of flashes in order
to determine the first digit of the flash code. After a two second pause,
the second sequence of flashes will identify the second digit of the flash code.
Any additional flash codes will follow after a pause. These codes will be
displayed in the same manner. Flash Code 55 indicates that No Detected Faults
have occurred since the ignition key switch has been turned to the ON position.
All codes are two digits. Let me know what code you get and I can tell you what
the problem may be.

Caterpillar 3126B

12 Coolant Level Sensor Circuit Fault
15 An Injection Actuation Pressure Sensor Circuit Fault
