I found the chassis specs brochure, attached below, in my files.
According to them, the 275 HP Cummins ISB used in the Journey in 2002 has the peak torque specification as:
600 lb•ft (895 N•m) @ 1,600 rpm
The 300 HP Cummins ISB used in the Journey DL in 2002 has the peak torque specification as:
660 lb•ft (895 N•m) @ 1,600 rpm
Yes, the "TD" would be the more desirable coach as it is a "Journey
DL" which is an upgrade from the standard Journey. You can take a look at the brochure for that year to see the differences:
