I am not familiar with your unit, someone should be along soon that knows it but generally speaking all the RV city water connections are one way so water can only go in, not out. If it is coming out that hook up should be replaced.

Short of replacing it one can go to Lowe's or Home Depot and cobble together a check valve and add it in line. That might solve the issue.

Just get a plastic plug and screw it in where the hose would normally go. It will work as a short term fix until you can replace the fresh water fitting.

The plug threads have to match a male hose end. Any hardware store or big box store will have them.

The city water connection is equipped with a check valve that prevents pumped water from back flowing out the connection. Easy solution is to get a male plastic plug and screw it into the fitting.

Your water pump also has a check valve in the out let and it can start to leak and when on city water, it will back flow and overfill the fresh water tank.
