2003 Sighseer 30B on Worhorse Chassis High Beam Bulbs

Hello,

Has anybody replaced their stock bulbs with better, brighter replacement bulbs? My 2003 has two different headlight brands in the high beam slots and one is semi ok and the other is somewhat useless. I just want to replace both bulbs with the brightest and clearest high beams I can get. Having a hard time finding even which beams to buy (short of pulling them to get a model number).

Any input would be welcome!

Hmmm...thought someone might pipe in by now, so...
Welcome to IRV2!

Here's a thread over on the workhorse chassis section on upgrading headlights. Mine are crap too but I just don't drive much at night.

OK here is my two cents worth of wisdom. Pull the good bulb and go to your local auto parts and see if they can pull up the #s and sell you replacements. Almost all late model headlights have Halogen bulbs. You can put in new stock bulbs or upgrade to brighter bulbs. Brighter = hotter so they will have a somewhat shorter life expectancy. But two sets and you will have replacements on hand when needed....hope this helps.

AND do not put the new bulbs in with bare hands. Oil from your fingers may shorten the bulbs life expectancy. OK...that will be a nickel !!
