2003 Southwind reviews

Hello to everyone. Just joined the forum and want to say thanks ahead of time for any advice you can give. After being out of camping for awhile my wife and I have decided to get back into camping. We have owned travel trailer, slide in, fiver, and an entry level Allegro. Now we are looking at getting into a more serious motor home. As we cant possibly buy a new one we are looking at a 2003 Southwind 36B. It looks really nice. Has a few little things that are no problem. The biggest issue is someone put an electric awning on it and from what I was told it was mounted with a screw loose or the wrong type was installed. This resulted in a leak that presented itself at the bolt mounting the seat belt. Result was damage to the wood panel under the passenger window. I have seen the panel and it is still solid. They are replacing it. They did tell me it is ready for new front brake pads. There seems to be no other damage or problems. Everything in the coach seems to be working and other than some carpet wear it looks fantastic. Coach is a one owner or should say it is in the same family. Just sold to the son. We are down to 30,000 at this point with them fixing the panel and me the brake pads. It has good tires on it and I couldn't find the date on them. It was getting dark and I know they are supposed to have a date somewhere. They are a load range G. Love the triple slide and the room. Is there anyone that has opinions on this coach? It is a super nice rig. 8.1 with the allison. Sorry for the long post. Thanks again for your advice
