Hello & Welcome Charlenev, there is an Alpine Owners Forum on IRV2 where the other Alpine owners can assist. The bay door should hook on the opening by lift the bottom over 130 degrees and you should be able to get the bay door back on.
It easier to do than to try and explain. Good luck.
