On most it can be changed with a few button pushes.

I don’t know what they have it set to but the seller would know.
Warning, although the Alphas are great coaches, they all have defective fiberglass side walls, unless the replacement has already bean done.
The storage bays are simple-camper hatches, the wheels are steel with simulators, and the roof is rubber like travel trailers.
There is a company in Indiana that replaces these defective walls and paint as a full time job.
I could get their number if you want the skinny from them.
Around 40 K for replacement and paint.
Also company went bankrupt, so parts are not available.
I’ve seen them for sale starting at 29K without the replacement.

Good advise ... the side wall issue I am aware of is blistering, which is not structural just cosmetic. There is a company in California that I think was started by previous Alpha employees for support, parts etc..

I like the Alphas but there are some things that are not up to high end standards like the wheel covers, fit and finish, wonky slides, basement a/c etc. On the positive side you can get a good price on some and the interior head room really opens up the living area and the engine chassis I think are solid.
Hope that helps!

It's a Freightliner chassis, so the odometer and speedometer can be set to either Km or Miles and changed with a few button pushes. You can change it back & forth without risk - it converts one to the other.
In most Freightliner XC chassis dashboards, a long (3+ seconds) press of the Trip Reset button changed Km to Miles or vice versa. There should be a tiny K or M in the corner to show which it is (but I've never noticed it).
