2004 Bounder Stored for 2 years

I'm about to pull out my 2004 Bounder after 2 years in storage. I'm planning on driving from Florida to California. I know I need tires and any suggestions where to buy them will help. It has about 25k on the engine and any information to help me get it prepared for the journey will help. Thanks in advance.

Tires are a good thing!
Don't know what engine you have, but a total filter change, fuel, oil, and air, close check on belts and hoses, really CLOSE check, be sure to get all grease zerks properly lubed, wheel bearings, pull a wheel or two, and check brakes, air supply, and lines if you have them, bulbs, wipers, all water systems, fresh and waste, electrical systems, heat, air, fridge, rear diff., fuel additive to freshen up old fuel, especially if you have had ethinol mix gas, and you probably do. If you have a diesel, appropriate fuel additive for the first tank, I like Lucas, but whatever works for you..

All batteries chassis & house will probably need replaced also.

Change ALL the fluids and give a real good greasing. Fill the potable water tank and pressurize it then check for leaks. Fill the grey & black tank about half full and then check for leaks. Flush and sanitze the potable water tank also. Have the Brakes, steering and tranny fluid flushed and refilled. Make sure you exercise the slideouts and the stabilizer jacks also. It gonna cost but think of all the money you saved by not using it for 2 years

If you have never done it before, this would be the trip to buy a Roadside Assistance program like Good SAMs or Coachnet. I'll bet it'll pay for itself on this one trip and you'll have it the rest of the year!

Go on a short trip or 2 before heading out on the long journey. Test all of the equipment. Might have a few bugs to work out.
