2004 monaco levelers

Good morning all,
We just purchased a 2004 Monaco Monarch with 12,500 miles.
The Power Gear, hydraulic, leveler controller beeps and the 'jacks down' light flashes even though the jacks are retracted. The light and beeping stop after the coach has been on the road for a while or possibly the rpms get to a certain level. I have checked the reservoir oil and it is full to the plug threads.
Ideas?
Thanks so much!
Mark

Replace the level sensor on the side of the fluid tank. We unplugged it in our first RV as we didn't want the expense at that time and have always ensured the jacks are up before driving.

The beeping may indicate that the fluid level is down. Check but make sure not to over fill.

The may be a buildup of material not letting the jack fully retract.

FYI, there is a Monaco Forum in the Owners Forum, post specific Monaco questions here and you'll get lots of answers.

If you don't have a manual for your coach you can get one here

Mine did that too. I drained and refilled the system and assured that the level was correct. Didn't fix it, so I unplugged the sensor. I always check them during my final walk around anyway.
Stupid new sensor is something like $85.

Hi Mark! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Can't really help with that since our rig has air leveling only, not jacks! Keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
