2005 Country Coach Inspire or 2005 Travel Supreme Envoy?
In the hunt for our first MH these 2 caught our attention and we are planning to go look them over this weekend. Any thoughts/facts/info pro or con would be greatly appreciated.

Country Coach has a reputation for quality. I am not familiar with the Envoy. Look at both so you can compare cabinetry, fit and finish, accessories and overall appeal. I am sure both will provide a lot of enjoyment. Are the relative costs the same? Tire condition? Engine size? etc etc, you get my drift.

I agree!
I'd add that the CC chassis is a superior product ~ better built, better ride, better components.
I'd suggest you take a look at NADA guides ~ without looking I'll bet not only did the TS cost less, but it's depreciated more.
With all that said ~ floorplan still rates supreme! Followed by a nose with how well each coach has been maintained and cared fore.
Just my two cents!

Both Travel Supreme and Country Coach had reputations for building high quality rigs. Both were also victims of the economy but have been somewhat reborn.....CC is back in business as a provider of parts, service and technical support. Travel Supreme is basically gone but much of their design is now incorporated in the Entegra line of coaches which is now owned by Jayco.
Both the Envoy and the Inspire were the lower line of coach for both companies. Not suggesting either were cheap but they were at the bottom of the pecking order.
While CC did make their own Dynomax chassis and TS used Spartan (maybe Freightliner on the Envoy??), most of the stuff bolted to the chassis like axles, brakes, suspension came from the same manufacturers that most all the chassis builders used. Same for the drive train...Cummins or Cat with an Allison transmission.
As with any coach you might consider, check them out thoroughly. If the floor plans meet your needs, then it becomes about how well they were maintained and the condition of the drive train, house and other systems.

+1 to all smlranger states above. You will find each to be a very well built coach.

Both may have there problems , as you can see I like the Country Coach. We just installed the new Samsung 197 RR and it is a great fit and as stated CC is back in business plus I like the IFS. This may help you on the CC before you look at it.

Also, there are both County Coach and Travel Supreme owners forums on IRV2 so you can check in with those folks if you have additional questions on either of the coaches you are considering.

Both very good makers. You will not be sorry with either depending on the condition. So basically you need to drive them both and see which one you like better. Plus which floor plan fits your life better. We have been very happy with our Country Coach. We have been to the CC factory twice and have had very good luck getting any parts and service we needed.

You will find a better support network with the Country Coach. All the good techs from CC went out and started their own business and are very supportive of CC. They can come up with parts that you need, no problem. In dealing with the techs, I haven't heard of anything they cannot come up with.
I have over 110,000 miles on our '02 and I haven't found anything I would trade for.

I'm also considering an Inspire. Because CC did go through financial hardship a while back, I was a little nervous about the brand. I took the time to call Country Coach Corp. in Oregon to inquire about service parts. They were very helpful and encouraging. They basically told me I would be able to get anything I needed and if they didn't have it, it could be made. I would suggest calling Jayco/Entegra and asking them about service parts for the TS you are considering.

If you have the 38 DS 02 Model of the Envoy it is rated about the same as the Inspires of all slide configurations. The other Envoys are not rated as high in handling. I know nothing about the Envoy. I do however have a Country Coach Intrigue and live in it full time and love it.
Go to rv.org I would recommend dropping the coin and buying the product these guys have. It will be the best money you spend on your coach.
Good Luck and Happy Hunting
