Question 2005 Monaco Knight Mysterious 5 amp fuses

I found two 5 amp mini fuses inside a separate fuse holder located just over my AC compressor in the engine compartment underneath my bed access hatch.

Does anyone know what these might be for ?

There is a large very hard to trace bundle of wire dressing bundles they eventually goes to.

I can not find in any electrical drawing I have.

2005 Monaco 38' Knight Cummings ISC330 Allison 3000.

Thanks

One is the alternator feed, I believe the second is for the alternator fail circuit. Both are 5 amp fuses located next to the alternator on HR coach.

More unknown fuses and relay ?

Monaco 2005 Knight PBD ICS330 AL3000.

Would you happen to know what these fuses are I found in the battery bay ? Also there is an unknown relay I can't find drawing for ?

See yellow circles.

Thanks again.

Do you have a wiring diagram.

I have one for my coach and it shows almost all the fuses and relays.

There were a couple relays in my front drivers side run bay that were not marked but when I pulled back the black wire protector I saw they were marked and using my wiring diagram I was able to figure out what they were.

So check to see if any of the wires are marked.

Often there's a fuse for ignition, dash and trans for DP ,older ones used 10ga wire so probably heavier fuse. One or more of these may be used as same. I see possible labels take pic with phone and blow them up might be faded. Locations are on the wiring diagrams of fuses.

The labels on the fuse holders is the clue. I know one is for the trailer brake controller feed (found that one the hard way!) but don't recall what the other fuses are for. Not all the positions are populated with fuses either. But check those white labels and see if you can still read them. If you can't I'll see if my HR Ambassador's are still readable and if so I'll photo them for you.

No joy on the labels or wiring diagrams

Labels are bleached out so unreadable.
Trailer wiring maybe right as previous owner had toad wiring added with Blue OX equipment I believe.

Frustrating my electrical drawing package is not as good as it should be.

I've spent hours trying to find the Dash AC wiring for this coach. It is missing from the drawing package too.

Does Monaco have a drawing package for my serial number ? I woulder it they would sell it ? I've heard they are not helpful to older coaches made before they bought the company.

Thanks for any info you might have.

I have diagrams for 05 and 06 Holiday Rambler which should be almost identical. Let me know what ones you need and I may be able to scan them for you. (My diagrams are 11x17 so I'll have to do it with a camera and not my scanner, but that should work.)

I'll go out in a few minutes and see if my labels can be read.

OK, here is what I have!

I have three fuse blocks there, but most have two fuses with two open positions.

Getting closer

I believe you have found my fuses !

I would assume the (Diag and Trans) , (ECM1 ECM2) all go to the engine and transmission and diagnostic port connections.

I'm not sure about the CHG ( Alternator charging ?) and BCK? Any ideas ?
I would like to have a drawing that shows all those fuses if possible.

I would also very much appreciate a drawing of the Dash AC wiring. I've pieced together my own knowledge based on other coach drawings and the Evans AC info but if you have one that pulls all that together that would be great.

My Knight Cummings ISC is a rear radiator model thus has a side AC condenser & fan. It uses a simple old school 3 knob position (non-electronic) Evans AC controller. Vent/AC/Heat Mode, Fan Speed, and Temperature.

Any ideas on the relay that is in my original picture ?

I've spent many hours trying to figure this out.

Thanks much !

PM me your email and I'll email the 05 diagrams as a PDF. However, also search the downloads section here on IRV2 as I may have already uploaded them there too (I'm not sure...)

Same for anyone else who wants them: PM me an email. The file is relatively large (perhaps 15-20 MB...) in size.

My diagrams don't have the HVAC (dash) system information as a page. The fuses and such are marked on several of the diagrams. Realize (or know?) that the HVAC is, as far as I know, a basic GM setup, the mechanical is vacuum controlled, with fan being electrical... If you can't find what you want from the diagrams I can send you, then start searching for the GM HVAC systems from about 1995-2000 or so (pickup truck/vans probably. ) FWIW this system is almost exactly what was installed in my Hummer H1 (a 1999) with minor differences in how the vacuum was sourced (both have pumps, but the Hummer was engine driven, the RV's is electrical...)
