2005 Newmar Dutch Star DSDP 4023

I took delivery of my 2005 Dutch Star in December, only travelled about 600 miles so far. I'm starting to think that this vehicle may have been in a front end crash,
Is the a way that I could research this vehicle to see?

Thank you

It may be tough, but if it were substantial, it might have been fixed at Newmar. Call them with your coach number and see if there is any info.

What makes you think that it has been wrecked?

Hi
there is a clear shield on the front that looks very bad and makes the RV look dirty, the bumper does not have the clear shield and some front body parts don't line up evenly

OP: By "Clear Shield" are you talking about the 3M Plastic commonly installed back-in-the-day to as a bug shield? If so, it maybe yellow now, but so is everyone else's who has these. (Big mistake, but back then people just threw money at whatever they thought made their coach top-of-the-line.)

Does your steering wheel have "slop" or "play?" If, so crawl under and hot your tie rods look. Note: A lot of boots are cracked and this is normal. Changing the boot is a PITA and I would leave it the the chassis manufacture.

What chassis to you have? Do you have Independent Front Suspension (IFS)? I would think so as Dutch Star is a very nice coach. Just put in a residential refrigerator and you will like it even more.

Diamond Shield. There are a lot of posts here.about it.

Pull out your generator slide in the front. You should be able to see any damage repair that way.

I have a 2005 Mountain Aire. The front body panels fit well, but not like a car. How far off are they?
