Two issues with 2005 Seabreeze. Leveling Jacks have no power, and bedroom slide won;t lock shut and now in/out power. Turning sharp lefts was a chore.... Gears on slide seem OK, won't lock in or move in or out. Leveling jacks may have been fooled with too much while trying to level on a uneven surface. Any help would be appreciated.
Since I have a 2005 Seabreeze I believe you have Power Gear system. If you have no power to the jacks, that would indicate either a blown fuse, or loose wiring connection, most likely.
On the slides, as far as I know, there is no "lock" when they are closed. You also say they are not operating open or close. Do you hear the slide out gear motor running? If the motor is running but the slides do not move it is most likely the shear pin. During that era, National used a cheaper (poorer quality) shear pin to transfer the power from the motor to the 'drive-shaft'. If you are pressing the slide rocker switch and nothing happens, I think you have, again, a blown fuse or bad wiring. First check the circuit breaker and fuse panel in the hall. You may find the answers to both problems there.
I haven't looked yet, but since you own a National RV, I think you would be better off posting in that section. Other NRV owners may have had your problem, and can give you better suggestions for possible solutions.
Also, check on the local FMCA National RV Owners club in your area. Join them. Lots of great folks, and lots of knowledge about Nationals.
Happy Trails!
