From my experience with a 2004 Vectra
1. Check the hydraulic lines running to the slides - especially where the lines connect at the ends to the slides and the other components (equalizers, etc.). Open the storage bays and look "up", then also look behind the slides with the slides extended. It was not uncommon for these to develop bubbling/leaking of the lines near the terminations and lose fluid. Leakage will require new lines, even though it looks like you could just swedge on new terminations...it doesn't work/the new fittings won't hold and will leak also.
2. Check the exhaust manifold for cracking/leaks. Look for black soot. The two-pieces manifolds have been known to have issues for some folks.
My .02. It was a fine rig and drove very well otherwise, and we liked the floorplan. Paint and finish issues may vary depending on where the rig "lived" and covered/uncovered, etc.
