2006 Fleetwood Expedition - Check Engine Light

Any ideas on what to do when the Check engine light comes on and engine won't accelerate on the Cat 300 engine? Engine starts easily and I can move the coach at idle speed, but can't accelerate. Hoping that I can avoid the expense of the Cat or MH dealer. Possible?

Follow the wiring from the throttle pedal , up to the main under dash wiring harness , and disconnect and re-connect the plug-in connector . The ECM , might not be seeing the TPS.
Without a code , everyone, including me, is just guessing.
Consider the purchase of a Silverleaf, or Scan Gauge D , dashboard displays that can also display codes.
More info.

VMSPc is money well spent and Silverleaf product support is awesome. Try it before you take your coach to a repair facility, could save you a bunch of cash.

Smile Very helpful, thank you!

Although I don't understand 'VMSPc' suggested by Petes Dad, I believe you are agreeing with Skip. Thank you Skip for your suggestion. Although I take full blame for my ignorance, my unit (that I just took ownership of in January) has a ScanGuageD already! I have downloaded the manuals from the ScanGuage site that you referred me to, and will now try to understand how to use the little guage to help me diagnose what the CheckEngine Light might be trying to tell me. Thank you so much gentlemen for quickly responding and trying to help me out on this. I will update the post with the resolution!
