2006 Monaco Knight 40PLQ new front Bilstein Shocks

Just installed 4 new front shocks Bilstein and the Monroes were shot at 32,000 and my back has just recovered. Thinking about adding a Safe -T Steer also, any opinion or experience would be appreciated thanks Tim

The Safe-T-Steer doesn't work well on Monaco diesel coaches.
Read about the Monaco Watts system:

What are you looking to improve? What Roadmaster chassis (sorry don't know all the types)?

I don't believe that's designed for his rig.

I too have a 2006 Monaco Knight. I just replaced all 8 shocks with Bilstein’s, added the Monaco Watts front linkage and rear cross bars. I’m very happy with how the coach rides and is much easier to drive.

I have a 2004 Safari Cheetah that has a Monaco sticker but my service place was able to look up the correct safe-t-plus and it's on my rig, along with new bilsteins. So, can't say that the safe-t will "work on not work" on your coach but that should be easy enough for any vendor to look up. I will say this steering damper and shocks are the best money I have ever spent on my coach. Absolutely transformed the driving experience. I looked up your coach assuming the 8 bag roadmaster chassis and got this. Which is on my coach, I have the 4 bag chassis.

The other stabilizer I looked is ironically called "Roadmaster" but they were out of stock. I think the blue safe-t is $300 more.

Installation was not bad. I put the coach up on some 2x12’s to get 6” of additional ground clearance. Total install time was about 6 hours including shocks. The shocks were the hardest part. You need to be a bit of a contortionist.

I had mine installed at camping world...vet discount and good sam applies. I wanted that particular job done at a shop I could hold responsible if it steered funny. It does not.
Shocks I did myself and I think you have 8 vs my 4 ? It was a bear for sure even with a capable impact wrench. I imagine a shop would want an hour per pair ? Dunno. My socket was a 1 1/8 and I just locked the nut with vice grips. Them things were OEM and on there good.
