2007 Fleetwood Expedition

My husband and I have had a 34' Georgetown Forest River and are contemplating an upgrade to a diesel to be able to travel across the country and to Alaska easier. We are going to look at a 2007 Fleetwood Expedition and I can't find many reviews on them. I was happy with the quality of our Forest River but in looking at the best rated Diesel pushers, I'm not finding Fleetwood. Can someone please enlighten me. Maybe pros and cons. Thanks

I don't know about the reviews but I own a 2008 Expedition with a 6.7 ISB and a Allison 3000 trans. I purchased it in 2009 with 4,000 miles. I do all the maintenance myself except one software update at Cummins.

I now have almost 70,000 miles which included a 14,500 mile Alaskan trip.

I have been quite happy with it. Sure I have had minor issues, but nothing that really pisses me off.

The Expedition is an entry level DP, similar to the Bounder diesel. It's probably as good as any in that price class, but it ain't an American Eagle or Monaco Dynasty. It's built on a basic Freightliner chassis with an Allison 3000 tranny and probably a Cat C7 engine. In terms of chassis mechanicals, it will be a substantial improvement over the Georgetown, but in terms of house fit & finish, probably no better. As with any used coach, the current condition is of much greater importance than the brand name.
