I am looking at a 2007 gulf stream independence. Do these units have aluminum frames? Am told they are out of business. If so how does replace say a broken windshield? This is a 30 footer with a ford V10. Is that engine a good model that year? Any insights will be appreciated. Thanks. Doug

GS is not out of business. But does not build Class A motorhomes at this time. Ford V10 from that year were good.

There are many MH manufacturers that went out of business over the years. But their products are still being used and repaired.
Most appliances are common amongst all manufactures.
