Are you thinking of buying one or did you already buy it? The freightliner package is what I have and love the ride.

Yes, the Independence has the Freightliner package. We're looking at one today but we're also looking around for one like your's.

What's the length of yours?

Thanks

Also keep in mind that all the components in the rv are universal and nothing was made specifically by Gulfstream so it can all still be replaced if broken.

Looks like that's a FRED, not too familiar with that set up or how it would ride

The Gulfstream Independence is strictly an entry level model, so don't expect a lot in terms of trim, amenities, quality of construction, etc. It's a FRED (front diesel) chassis, so leaf springs and hydraulic brakes rather than air.

I've got exactly that model. Bought it in 2015 and have been using it all year around. Some minor problems have ocurred but nothing to really worry about.
