2008 Holiday Rambler 38ft Vacationer Sound System

We purchansed the 2008 HR Vacationer from the original owner but have not been able to figure out the sound system yet for the TV. The sound system has a switch on the inside wall cabinet of the sound system main compoment that is labeled radio and surround sound which we have swithced to surround while looking at the TV but without success. The sound is limited to only speakers inside the TV while the external over head speakers and woofer located in the cabinet under the dining table does not work in the surround sound position. All the connections in the back of the sound system located in the over head compartment are connected properly. I do know I have to switch the system to AUX 1 for the TV, which I have done but no success. The switch in the radio positon with the in console radio on works well. CDs play good

Any suggestions?

Have you tried selecting all the inputs on system. Does it have a built in DVD player if so what happens then.

Have you tried to contact the person you bought it from? Most such people are pretty good about helping out.

We have a 06 vacationer with surround sound. The surround sound does not work with the TV, only the DVD. I was told this is how they are supposed to be. Does yours work with the DVD?

Thanks,
The TV sound output is plugged into the DVD player sound system. I have switched to AUX but no luck.

Are you talking about the AM/FM/DVD reciever, or is this a stand alone DVD player?
