I've been doing the snowbird thing in my Camelot for 12 years. I have installed the front Watts link, ride improvement kits front and rear and X bars on the rear H frame. I was experiencing some wander and wind issues prior but this made my rig handle like a dream. Had to replace the fridge cooling unit, and tires but that's about it for major stuff. I love my rig and it has been very good at taking me and bringing me back for 12 years. The clear coat is peeling on the front cap and along the roof top sides in places but it's always exposed to the sun. IMHO, I feel that year was the last good rig built by Monaco before they died. When I ordered my rig from the factory I insisted on a motor that didn't require DEF and got a 2006 400 ISL. Not sure what motor the rig you're looking at has the DEF motor. Another thing I insisted on was the Aqua-Hot and if you rig has that make sure it has no leaks when operating. The 08's had a propensity to crack windshields but Monaco installed a "halo kit" in some rigs to strengthen the front cap so check on that. Complete maintenance records would be a must if I was looking at a different coach.
