2010 Bay Star 2901 wired for 2 air conditioners?

The 13,500 ducted air conditioner doesnt seem to cut it all the time .I was thinking of increasing to a 15,000 when in Phoenix
Was also wondering if its ducted to add a second air conditioner instead
It is a 30 Amp Class A
Thanks

I’m not sure your unit would be wired for a second AC. I know my 2016 BSS could not get a second AC nor would Newmar upgrade it to 50 amp service. I DID upgrade to the 15k heat pump and glad we did. Not only does it fill a bit better but also works great to warm the place on cold nights with out using the furnace. Once the HP determines it can’t generate heat it will auto switch to the furnace.

BTW the 15k is not enough in really hot areas, unless you can find some shade.

You can’t run two A/C’s on a 30 amp service. At least it won’t work very well. I had a Rexhall 30’ that ran on two airs but today’s system won’t handle it. The larger Ac with heat pump is an excellent idea. I have it and I hardly use any propane.

My 30' 2004 Holiday Rambler has a 13,500 btu A/C which is woefully inadequate if we are parked in full sun. In the bedroom next to the ceiling vent is a little tag that says it is pre-wired for A/C. I have been tempted to add a second small A/C in the bedroom but would only be able to run one at a time. I am only 30 amp.

I would think if your MH is pre-wired for a second A/C you would have a similar tag near a vent.

That's really odd. My 2017 BSS has dual ac's and 50 amp service and the 2016 brochure lists it as an option under the heating/cooling section.
